よいお年を！ Or Happy New Year! It's already 2017 in Japan, and I welcomed in the New Year quietly. It's never been a particularly important holiday for me, but in Japan, it's more important than Christmas. Even so, after taking a road trip, I was way too tired to do too much on the celebration side. I stayed up until midnight watching Netflix, and immediately fell asleep afterwards. Yes. Winter is coming. And I figured I should update my journal here. When I first started this account, I had just started my Fire Emblem fanfiction. I would like to to officially announce that I've "won" NaNoWriMo. I didn't finish my fanfic...but I did write over 50,000 words, and I almost finished Part 1. I'm in the process of taking a week off to recuperate and get over some issues at work. After that, I plan to edit a chapter a week. (We'll see how that works out.)
